Effective July 8, 2026
The short version: Lightclub collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no servers of ours. Your phone talks directly to your Hue Bridge on your own Wi-Fi.
When you run a music-reactive light show, Lightclub analyzes microphone audio on your device, in real time, to detect beats and loudness. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The microphone stops the moment you stop the show. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings.
Lightclub discovers and controls your Philips Hue Bridge over your local network. Your bridge credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain (synced via your personal iCloud Keychain so your other devices can use them). They are never sent to us — we have no servers.
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how the App Store handles purchase data.
None. Lightclub has no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no crash-reporting services, and no accounts. Everything the app knows (your shows, palettes, profiles, settings) lives on your device.
Household links and shared shows are encoded into the link itself and travel by whatever channel you choose (Messages, AirDrop…). Only share household links with people you trust — they grant control of your lights.
Lightclub does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: support@lightclub.app.
